Antique Very Large American Oak Grain / Apothecary Cabinet, ca 1900

This American oak grain cabinet was produced around 1900/1910 in Montpelier Ohio by W.C.Helller & Co which still exists. The cabinet was purchased in the early 20th century by the Graanrepubliek Groningen in the Netherlands to store and archive seeds from local farmer families. The drawers are made from zinc to protect the seeds from mice and rats. The interior dimensions of the drawers are: Top - D 34 x W 12 / 18 / 24 / 37 x H 15 cm Bottom - D 57 x W 18 / 24 / 37 x H 15 cm The drawers can be placed anywhere and will fit in different configurations.
